Hello,

Have you ever been convinced of your value and worth in a particular situation, only to find that others see differently? Even when it’s a “good” perception, it can be somewhat disconcerting. How would you advise someone to respond?

Here’s today’s Holy Nougat

Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel’s hand.” (The seven lamps represent the eyes of the Lord that search all around the world.)

 Zechariah 4:10 NLT

What are the small beginnings which have proved discouraging to our very sense of self? Remember Naaman’s healing only began when he was willing to ‘lower’ himself into the lowly waters of the Jordan. And Joseph’s prophetic career was really launched in the pits of the Egyptian palace. Moses’ mettle was tested on the back-end of Mt Horeb, Deborah ministered to the king-less Israel in the great outdoors.

If God has called us to a station or situation, we should trust that God has already determined the Way forward.

Let us view our beginnings through God’s eyes and not our own.

In Christ
