Some thoughts re Jesus’ suffering in today’s Holy Nougat™
If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. 1 John 1:8 NLT
Let’s not lie to ourselves, even when we confess our sins, our naturally sinful nature continues to get in God’s way. It is such an offense to God’s nature that an unblemished sacrifice be offered in our stead. That’s part of the deal that Christ brokered on our behalf.
Today, let’s be thankful for Jesus’ sacrifice, for in it there’s life.
