Good morning dears
The Son is risen and making intercession for us! It is a great day. Even if we are faced with fears and doubts.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”” Zephaniah 3:17 NLT
Whether we define it by acronyms or not, Fear is a very real struggle for many believers. Little things that get priority energy – spiders and other creepy crawly insects. Lizards. Not so little (and perhaps justifiably scary) things – snakes; darkness and predators (2 and 4 footed). And there are others I’m sure.
God’s concern is not so much us being afraid; as it is our reaction to our fears. Do we attempt to conquer our fear with a stiff upper lip; or do we obsess over it? Do we pray, then worry; or do we go to God when the worry comes?
God offers Love as the antidote to Any & Every one of our fears. When fear says, we cannot; God’s Love says I died so you might do all things in my power. When fear says, obsess and worry; God’s Love says, I have given you love, power and peace of mind. When fear says, nobody cares; God’s Love says, cast your cares on Me. Just ask Jonah; Peter or Hagar. They know.
And when we finally silence fear; we will feel the Love. God’s Love. Perfect Love that heals broken hearts and minds and restores us unto God.
What an assurance! What an awesome substitute to our worries.
