Hello my dear

Have you ever stopped to quantify ‘great’? It is often dependent upon experience and perspective. The Caribbean house that was ‘great’ in the plantation era depended on servile labor for efficiency and had no indoor plumbing! Great for a child has far different from that of an adult. And has way different implications when ascribed to God, as is done with today’s Holy Nougat

“Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.”

Lamentations 3:23 NLT

This ‘Great’ is vast. Infinite. Vibrating with positivity. Present. Most of all, this greatness of God’s, is ours for the receiving ; yehay! Of course, having considered great, it’s helpful to put this ‘faithfulness’ in perspective. It’s about consistent dedication to, strength of commitment. So that means God’s commitment to us is infinite and vast. And, from my experience, it is personalized. (Of course, my bias is ‘great’).

With God’s faithfulness being vast beyond our calculation and comprehension; it is not surprising that God’s capacity to give and forgive (mercies is a bit more than just kindness and Santa Claus style giving) is not only infinite, but also self renewing every day! My dear, that’s gush-worthy info right there!

OMG!!! Seriously, O My God! Like, every day we each have the chance to cash in on a ton load of forgiveness and other amazing gifts from God! Every single day! Do we even notice that? Do we even care? Has any of us ever tried to count every single gift received from God in a day, just the typical ones? And then added in the extras which come with no strings attached? Or the little sins that pass every one’s notice which God forgives nevertheless? Or the blessings which we receive despite the wrong we do?

That’s vast!

Let’s choose to respond by offering this bit of Good News to someone today

Good morning

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
