Hi
It felt like serendipity, but it was the Still Small Voice of God –
A ‘chance’ scrolling through WhatsApp, a very clear unction to say hello. She hesitated. After all, they scarcely knew each other and neither one had real picture profiles. She sent a simple greeting. And second guessed until the answer came … “Who are you? Do I know you?”
She thought to herself, that is why I didn’t do these things. Next thing you know, I get accused of stalking. With a sigh she responded; ‘You might not remember me, but we belong to the ‘Y’ group and I felt led to pray with you.’ Heart in her mouth, she watched the screen indicate typing was taking place.
The response. “Thanks so much. I need prayer, could you please pray for me,” was welcomed. It also carried it’s own pressure – what to say; how to pray? Was the recipient okay with the prayer prayed? Fears were unfounded, for, she was reminded of today’s Holy Nougat, which spoke directly to what was unfolding –
“I don’t speak on my own authority. The Father who sent me has commanded me what to say and how to say it.” John 12:49 NLT
Upon whose authority do you act and speak?
Good morning In Christ’s love and grace . . .
