Greetings

Today’s Holy Nougat is really a pick-me-upper. Hope it ministers to us in awesome ways

“For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”” Zephaniah 3:17 NLT

In Isaiah we’re told that the forsaken ones are now renamed the Lord’s beloved and delight. When no one else does, God already has. But more importantly we realize that if we are God’s delight, then God is pleased (yes happy) with us. Just because.

How does it feel to know that you are the source of God’s happiness? That because of your existence, God is glad. I know it warms my heart today. And gives me reasons to live, to laugh, to smile. And yes, the knowledge does incline my heart to discover ways to make God smile.

So today, I pray that you KNOW how much you are loved; and remember that just by your very existence, God is happy. Hang in there, God loves you.
