Thanks for joining us. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalms 23:6 NIV
How do we believe this in the face of all that is happening in this world? Can we truly say this with conviction? And yet, if we have experienced God as our Shepherd through a difficult season, we might be convicted of God’s supporting presence. Or not.
Plus us being actively pursued by God’s loving kindness and mercy is NOT contingent upon our current circumstances. We may be in debt, but we are pursued by God’s goodness and mercy (God’s provision and grace). We may be sick but sure nuff we’re still under God’s mercy. We may be battle scarred and worn … broken within or without … feeling lost and alone … scared or in pain – right there in full sight of the enemy of our souls; God’s goodness and mercy are in relentless pursuit.
Maybe we should allow them the chance to overwhelm us and see how it feels to know that God’s got us.
For without a doubt; God’s loving kindness and forgiveness and blessings are with me by the still waters, in green pastures, through paths of righteousness AND the Valley of Shadows! Hallelujah
