Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again. But one disaster is enough to overthrow the wicked. Proverbs 24:16
Have you ever stopped to think what propels the godly to rise after each disaster? In a world where failure (tripping) is cause for teasing, bullying, or abandonment? In a world where it is us Christians who are the harshest critics? In a world where we have been programmed to think that failure even once is not an option?
I believe that only Jesus Christ, our Saviour, friend and brother has the power, authority AND the desire to reinstate us. Just ask the prisoner on the cross. Just ask Simon-Peter. Just ask Lazarus. Just ask the hemorrhaging woman. Just ask your church sister/brother. Just be honest and ask yourself. Let us thank God that through Jesus Christ, there is always room for the repentant saint or sinner.
Thank God for Jesus!
