Dear Friends
Greetings to you wherever you are in the world. As I prepared for Today’s Holy Nougat™, the various images of devastation around the world continues to remind me that we are a peoples in crisis.
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? Matt 25:37 (NIV)
And even as we look to the Christ who is great enough to calm every and any crisis, I urge us to ask the Lord how we might be part of God’s specially chosen team for such a time as this.
I am confident that there are different funds established by our churches to help alleviate some of the issues; organisations which are consolidating human and material resources to address the more critical issues and local assemblies to which we might lean our political might to make a cause for those in need. And there’s always, Always, ALWAYS room for intercessors – people whose prayers reach and touch the heart of God.
Where do your gifts and skills fall in the aforementioned possibilities? (If you don’t see it, ask the Lord for discernment)
Now please help.Someone’s life will be transformed by our acts of selflessness.
