Hi
Today we had our church visits. It wad interesting to see how folks worship here. Internet service has become a bit iffy; but we press on.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is good: for His mercy endureth forever. Psalm 136 vs. 1
During the service, members were invited to share their testimonies as they gave their thank offering. The stories were real and spoke to their faith in a God who met them in their times of trouble. Talk about the move of the Spirit; powerful!
Giving thanks to God should be as natural as breathing. For the members of the Pentecostal congregation, they understood that concept. And, they partnered the thanksgiving with a tangible offering. Their praise was profound and infectious.
How about you? Do you have a testimony? When last have we stopped to give thanks for breath and any other gift which we would normally be taking for granted? I agree, some times it seems that God does not operate in the ways and timing we desire. That does not in any way diminish God’s God-ness.
So let’s get to praising today!!!
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
