Hello

Here’s today’s Holy Nougat

“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.” Psalms 19:14 NLT

Integrity begins in the heart. It is is rooted in the conception of values and attitudes, rather than in the visible manifestation of words and actions. What one experiences is the tip of the iceberg. It is not the entire situation. As children of God, integrity matters, not because of public opinion; but because our primary audience is God. For, when our primary audience is God, then what others experience will reflect what we think about God.

Hmmmmmm, makes a difference now. For, it suggests that the unseen ‘iceberg’ is our reality with God. We manifest what is already existent (of course, we may manifest other actions and attitudes, but when it is inconsistent with what’s inside, our integrity may be questionable). And that transparency originates in our desire to please God wholly and soully.

So, self examination time.

How are my thoughts pleasing God and can others see that in my actions and speech?

Are my words/actions consistent with my thoughts?

In what ways might God be glorified in my existence today?

Lord, where my life failed to reflect Your presence within me, forgive me. Please help me live with and for You today amen.

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
