Hello my dears
A couple of thoughts are on my mind just now, and I’m taking the liberty of sharing with you
Firstly, I’m thanking God for those of you who have been encouraging me in this ministry, whether by forwarding to friends, adding them to the FB group, words of encouragement, and even financial support. I really appreciate all you do. May God continue to bless you as you live your Barnabas purpose. (For the record, Barnabas means son of encouragement, so there you go).
Secondly, I wonder whether anyone remembers Janet Jackson’s hit song, ‘What have you done for me lately?’. Each time I connect with Today’s Holy Nougat™ I’m reminded of the sentiment she expresses …
“How kind the Lord is!” she exclaimed. “He has taken away my disgrace of having no children.” Luke 1:25 NLT
Janet complains about her love’s inability to support her. But we have a God who is ALWAYS on time. Many of us are gifted complainers, but not good at acknowledging the many gifts good has bestowed upon us.
So,
What has the Lord done for you lately? Have you really stopped to notice, or do you need to be reminded like me (often by witnessing someone’s condition being worse than mine)? And having noticed, are you the 1 leper, or one of the ungrateful 9?
So,
Have you considered testifying about God’s goodness in taking away your disgrace? Where did/will you share it?
Let’s choose to gossip about God’s generosity to us with others. We just might start a praise revolution.
Thank you for joining us in this Divine feast! God bless you and enjoy the rest of the weekend.
In Christ
