It must have been hard for the Pharisees to hear or understand. It’s still a lot for many of us to grasp.

But when we recall …

… That light illuminates, Jesus fits the bill by offering hope in hopeless times

… That light enhances or makes more visible, Jesus transforms and changes how we view the world around us

… That light removes the shadows, Jesus removes that which the Prince of this world had shrouded in mystery, secrecy, shadows and pain.

Amid uncertainty, fear, hopelessness and pain … do we have room for the Light of this world?
