Nougat 10

Hi there

I tell you my dears, God’s got purpose. Just consider today’s Holy Nougat which tells us just that.

““Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I set you apart— I appointed you prophet to the nations.”” Jeremiah‬ ‭1:5‬ ‭TLV‬‬

The first three phrases are the ones which are so precious and profound for us to consider just now.

Now, let us be careful to note that a), this was a YHWH-Jeremiah conversation. It is specifically tailored to his life. Thus the stated purpose is Jeremiah’s. Not all of us are called to be prophets. We also note that b), Jeremiah’s life call is applicable to every single one of us.

God formed each of us personally and individually. So although it is our mothers who carried us around – thanks mother’s – we were gifted to this world by God. No accident there. A gift; that’s who each of us is. Let’s cherish ourselves for the gifts we are.

Moreover, we are assured that God knows us. Since God was there Before our conception, and knew us before the magical mystery began, I think it is safe to believe that God knows us better than we know ourselves. And despite our humanness; God loved us so much that God chose you gift us to the world. That’s passionate and abiding love.

Thirdly, God’s made us individually special – unique even – for we were framed with purpose by the Giver (Gifter) of life. Our talents are not accidental; they are connected to our purpose. And, as our lives unfold, we embark on a journey of discovering our purpose; a journey much better when travelled with God.

Our three takeaways from this delectable Nougat:

– We are individually unique and created on purpose for our special purpose
