Hi

Have you ever stopped to think about about purpose? In particular, your own? Consider today’s Holy Nougat

“This letter is from Paul, chosen by the will of God to be an apostle of Christ Jesus. I am writing to God’s holy people in Ephesus, who are faithful followers of Christ Jesus.” Ephesians‬ ‭1:1‬ ‭NLT

Paul, now that he had come to his senses, understood his purpose. With his delusions of grandeur overturned (en route a killing spree); he walked in purpose. God’s purpose.

So much so that he defined himself as, ‘chosen by the will of God’. He knows that his nature was not ordinarily bent to God’s will.

Neither is ours.

If we were to give our fleshy nature free reign; it is unlikely that we would find ourselves aligned to God’s will. But we can choose to be. And when we do, we’ll find we live our best lives.

Disclaimer – this is not to even remotely suggest that it will be uneventful or without pain and/or deep sorrow. It will. But having the opportunity to live our best (not necessarily most glamorous) lives has the potential to transform us. For some, we’d even say it’s when we begin living.

So here’s the question – Are you truly living your best life right now; living on purpose IN purpose? Or are you yearning for a little something more spiritually? For when we purposely live in God’s purpose; we are able to define ourselves as God does – ‘Chosen as … by God’s will!’

It doesn’t have to be ordained ministry of teaching or preaching; but it will be ordained by God for You.
