Nougat 10

Published on

Hi

Have you been hearing from God lately, especially amid the rack and riot of world events?

Something to ponder as you ruminate on today’s Holy Nougat™

Then go down to Gilgal ahead of me. I will join you there to sacrifice burnt offerings and peace offerings. You must wait for seven days until I arrive and give you further instructions.”

1 Samuel 10:8 NLT

Wait … Until I arrive!

How painful waiting gets. Especially when we don’t know the next steps. And yet, God still places many of us in the waiting room, sometimes indefinitely.

Has God ever told you to wait?

What do you do when it seems God forgot that you are still at Gilgal (like Samuel did to Saul)?

Could it be that we haven’t figured out what it means to meet God at Gilgal. One school of thought suggests that Gilgal isn’t ONE place, but that it is a descriptor. If that is correct, then our WAIT precedes our breakthrough in a very seriously spiritually real way. For Gilgal means “rolling away”, and is also considered a place of victory or transformation.

How willing are we to wait on God when the end result is breakthrough, victory or transformation? I pray we find the patience to wait on God at the Gilgal for our own breakthrough!

Let us keep all the hot spots in the world covered in our prayers. They’re many to mention. However, if we pray for those impacted, I’m certain God will meet them at the Gilgal also…

Thanks for joining us in this Divine feast

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
