Nougat 10

Published on

‘I not giving you anymore chances!’ My childhood self declared. I knew that I was right; and I would have ‘justice’ on my side. Oh yes. For everyone knew that I was not alone. Mine wasn’t an empty threat. I was only giving the person advance warning that my cavalry was coming. And my cavalry was more than just my sisters who were known for taking care of their own. When I was right; I had backative!!!!

And that is a core element in today’s Holy Nougat: we have backative!!!

“We are human, but we don’t wage war as humans do.” 2 Corinthians 10:3 NLT

And our cavalry is more than those around us. Our cavalry is dispatched by YHWH Sabaoth; Commander in Chief of the hosts of heaven. Undoubtedly; our cavalry is equipped in all the arts and sciences of warfare and war tactics. With a genuinely superhuman cavalry behind us; we probably HAVE been waging war the wrong way. Especially when we try to fight ‘it’ out ourselves.

Perhaps like my childhood self, we ought to be sending for the cavalry to fight with and for us. Then our victory is guaranteed; no matter how it seems here.

When we are beset by trying times, persons or situations; giving vent to our frustrations is not good defense. We need to hunker down with our Commander in Chief, Who WILL be our defense.

Recognizing that the situation, person or season is not the real issue helps to defuse our frustrations (well, sometimes).

Praise, Prayer and Proclamation of God’s Promises and Presence is a very good next step. Then, Listening for Directions on how, when, where to approach ensures that the vindication AND the victory is assured. (Vindication for fighting God’s way, rather than as our very human self desires)!

God’s Peeps; I sense that it’s time for us to establish, utilize and/or secure our Situation Room. For when the enemy comes; we are assured that our Cavalry has not only establish the Standard, but will see us through.

Take heart; the battles aren’t ours – they’re God’s!

Good morning

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
