Today’s reflection May 1
He said, “At this season, in due time, you shall embrace a son.” She replied, “No, my lord, O man of God; do not deceive your servant.” 2 Ki 4:16
Out of her bounty, she gave without measure. The blessings was returned pressed down, shaken together and running over. She could not believe she could be blessed past her barrenness!
She had stopped asking, but never stopped serving her God. She gave because she saw a need, not in anticipation of recognition for the deed (our a desire to serve her greed).
How do we respond to God’s promise of provision in the rough times?
Have we list hope for God’s intervention in the improbable and impossible
Lord, we need that little miracle, and we need it today. Please Jesus.
