Blessed 2018 my dearests
Congratulations. We are once more among the living. Just one more day, yet the dawning of a new year is also our portion.
Hopefully the Nougats won’t be as late beyond today, but I crave your forgiveness, it’s been a wonderful weekend of ministry.

Lord
We thank You for the gift of another day, one in which we have the opportunity to rejoice and be glad for we are alive. We celebrate this gift of Life as we command our entire being to give you Praise: hands, mouth, feet, head, muscles and heart. With our whole being we praise You oh Lord.
Your unwavering love has kept us this far, and we know your love WILL CONTINUE to keep us. We commit to Your care, our ways, dreams and even our resolutions, for it is only through Your abiding Love that they may become reality. Holy God, we rededicate ourselves to You this day and ask Your forgiveness for the winds we have committed against You and others. Grant to us the courage to stand up and be counted as ones called by Your Name, especially when it may feel safer to do otherwise.
As the world celebrates, we dare to dream that crime rates and injustice would decrease, but Lord, we recognize the times and ask that You indeed teach us to number our days as we live for You.
May our families, foes, friends and favorites find grace and continued favour with You dear Lord. Increase their wisdom and understanding as you draw us all closer to You through your love we pray, in Jesus’s Holy name Amen
