Hello
I trust it is well with you and yours. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Meanwhile, the priests who were carrying the Ark of the Lord’s Covenant stood on dry ground in the middle of the riverbed as the people passed by. They waited there until the whole nation of Israel had crossed the Jordan on dry ground.” Joshua 3:17 NLT
The miracle was in full sway. As long as the priests stood in the riverbed, the waters were rolled back. Rumor has it that over one million persons were being relocated from Egypt to the Land of Promise and none was left behind!
I can only imagine the trepidation some experienced, and yet they moved. I suspect some were dancing across when the end seemed so near. Others may have been slowly but steadily making their way across. Old and young, men and women, all made it safely over.
You see, that’s how God’s love works – our high priest stands in the middle of the chasm, ensuring that every single one of us has the opportunity to cross over in the Land of Promise.
Here’s a question for each of us tho? Are we even trying to help a brother or sister with the walk across? Whether by invitation or encouragement along the way? In one sense, that is God’s doing; but if we’re excited, are we sharing the Good News?
Grace and Peace to us all
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
