How has it been going? A monumental movement began that first Easter morning. For prior to His death, folks followed Him for what He’d done. Then; folds followed Him because He’d done what He said He would do. Now that can preach. On that note, here’s today’s Holy Nougat
Suddenly there was a great earthquake! For an angel of the Lord came down from heaven, rolled aside the stone, and sat on it. Matthew 28:2 NLT
Can you envision it. The mystery of the resurrection – moving a stone which a crane might have strained to move. Truly it must have been an angel.
Yesterday I was reminded that the stone was rolled away for the disciples to see that Jesus’s body was NOT. Interesting. But a very telling reminder that once again God will do exactly what God promised to do.
So we are reminded also every Easter of a Love so great, it defied death to open doors for us. For you and me.
The stone is rolled away. There is NO body in the tomb. Let us actively look for the Living, grasping hold of life eternal. Just one caveat – He is Risen and He is here with us! Hallelujah
