Hello
Have you ever stopped to think of how the Lord moves in our lives, to mobilize us until ministry or service? Some of us are very clear on how we communicate with God, especially in terms of our hearing from God beyond the Living Word, but I suspect that some of us have never had the opportunity to enjoy the experience. Here’s a recommendation from today’s Holy Nougat™
I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. Psalms 16:7 NLT
Here, the psalmist suggests that God speaks to our hearts. If that is the case, how well and how often do we listen to our hearts? Could God be trying to speak to us right now? Are we even interested in hearing what the Lord has to say? What type of response would the Lord receive from us – Deborah; Rahab; Jonah; Samuel; David; Esther; Jeremiah; Mary, or Saul-Paul?
There are so many who have had intimate moments with God. And not all responded positively to God’s invitation. But ultimately it doesn’t matter how others respond. For our relationship with the Lord is personal before it is public. And being guided by God involves a personal connect, even if confirmed by others.
Is it time to listen to our hearts? Let us bless the Lord.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
