Remember when folks scoffed at us if we were ‘Goody two-Shoes’? To the extent that we clamored to be otherwise? Consider that idea in light of today’s Holy Nougat
“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Could this be part of our problems in the world – that we’ve become tired of doing good? It seems as though us humans would rather be involved in anything that goes against the grain of God’s direction – lying, cheating, stealing, murder, adultery, rape, racism … the issues get more and more. And all while pointing fingers at the other for the sins that THEY have committed.
Recognizing sin is important; but let’s address our own also. Moreover, let us also be known for good. Not for our glory, but rather for the transformation of this world and the glory of God. As a matter of fact, how about us planning to secretly do good for someone who can’t repay or help us? Strictly for the pleasure of making a difference?
I guess we could focus on the blessings God will deliver in due season; but it’s even better when we’re not attempting to plan future blessings based on our goodwill. May the joy of doing good inundate our lives today and always amen
