How’s going? Are you ready for all God got planned for you in 2019? Whatever the response, I pray that our 2019 plan includes worship and lots of it. For worship here prepares us for worship there. Just like we’re today’s Holy Nougat
“I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.” Revelation 21:22 NLT

Talk about ongoing worship! Here on earth we are obliged to worship in a temple as we are unable to see God in the fullness of Glory and also because we haven’t grasped the reality of God incarnate. For, if God dwells within us, then our bodies are indeed the temple of God. It stands to reason that we should treat it with the respect due to where God’s presence dwells.
I can only imagine the awesomeness of being face to face with God and being holy enough to be in God’s presence without being consumed! Praise is likely to flow naturally. And with the hosts of angels joining, rather leading the praise; mmhm – some kind of wonderful! Truly wonderful!
But, for now, we’re ‘stuck’ on the reality of our mortal body, existing under the mere sliver of God’s glory and failing to grasp the significance of worshiping God at all times. Yet, we can turn that around right now. We can invite God in, and also request that God’s Spirit teaches us to worship in Spirit and in Truth.
