How do you identify with your faith in this post-Christian, postmodern era? Have you ever felt the need to justify your belief, or do you still exist in the very preserved and rate space where Christianity is still the primary religious belief? Should you be operating on the margins of Faith, I trust today’s Holy Nougat™ will provide a space for rejection and hope.

Yesterday, a schoolmate of mine posted online about his intellectual choice for Christ. This was a very bold affirmation as it exposed him to Prentiss ridicule on social media. I suspect that the post may have been copied, but that does not in any way diminish the value of that statement.
Choosing Christ is NOT a coward’s response to life’s challenges.
Rather, that choice defies logic and invites one to go out on a limb and trust, especially when it’s against insurmountable odds. And when God then shows up to vindicate … Oh what joy!
Says one song writer, “but to give the things you cannot keep for what you cannot prove, it’s the way to find the joy God has for you.”
In these times, I pray you find the strength of mind to boldly affirm your belief in God.
