Hello
Tired of feeling as though we don’t have the upper hand? Wondering why God won’t fix things? Could it be that we are our own deterrents to transformation? Hmmmn
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you forbid on earth will be forbidden in heaven, and whatever you permit on earth will be permitted in heaven.” Matthew 16:19 NLT
Certainly, this verse ought to impact us as we absorb the depth of the power accorded us by God. The power to speak life into situations or to prohibit functionality of others.
And yet, in many parts of the globe, Christians appear to be so powerless. Why?
Is it that we are afraid of abusing the power accorded us to refute and overthrow the enemy? Could be, but we know whom we believe and are persuaded that God WILL fulfill that which God has promised. If we ask, God is faithful to help us overcome our fears of abusing our power.
Or maybe we didn’t catch the bit about God granting us access to heaven. Keys means we don’t have to knock at heaven’s doors to get in. In Christ, we have the access code. Heaven’s waiting, let’s go.
Or perhaps we accepted the lie that we have no power. It could be true that we don’t. Especially if we deny the authority given to Christ which He spoke over the disciples shortly before his ascending into heaven. More so, if we lose sight of the Pentecostal power accorded us through the Holy Spirit. Could we have chosen to believe the enemy’s lies over the Truth shared by the Lover of our souls? Over our Creator?
Lastly, we might have ‘tested’ the power granted us, and it didn’t ‘work’. Two things
– the life-giving power of God is not a toy to be tested for manufacturer’s defects, nor is it on recall;
– furthermore, some things come by prayer and fasting (for then we would have taken the time to tap into the fullness of God’s Grace and anointing to do that which we are called to).
So. Jesus himself has granted access to heaven. The Holy Spirit awaits our deciding to actually access heaven and heaven’s armies. What are we as God’s called waiting for?
The enemy continues to kill, steal and destroy. But in Christ we have the power of Life. Time to walk into our authority and transform the world for the glory of God.
Thanks for joining us in this Divine feast.
God bless you
In Christ
