What if that were us in Peter’s shoes, would we respond in like manner? The cock had crowed just like Jesus had predicted. Peter’s sin was quietly exposed to him. On hearing the quiet confirmation of his sin, Peter broke into tears.

And in the here and now, are we willing to be confronted by our sin? How open are we to rebuke by the Holy Spirit?
