So there was great joy in that city. Acts of the Apostles 8:8 NLT
Something exciting was happening in Samaria. It was probably on par with that time when that rabbi – what’s his name? Yes; I remember. It’s Jesus – when he stopped by us in Sychar. But although he taught many of us and we believed in his teachings, some didn’t last in the new life past a week. Plus when you’re at the world’s End as we are at Sychar not everything passes over to the surrounding communities.
But this, this, this … thing, no; this Wave which had us excited was different. It was the Sychar visit plus a little more. Were you there, you’d feel how tangible the wave was in the air. Healings and casting out of demons, not to mention the quality teaching we were receiving! Oh it was good.
And, when you consider that Samaria has never been one of the Go-To cities for neither Jew nor non-Jew; you must concede that it was something out of this world! For there was Bro Stephen helping us to understand Life in Fullness. Powerful I tell you. Adonai was in full element and the Holy Spirit was moving!!!! Several persons got baptised, with water and with God’s Spirit. And that’s when the praise party really began! Oh you should have been there! It was truly out of this world. But then, maybe that’s why you look so joyous, and you are glowing.
Enough about our towns, let’s get to the heart of the matter. What happened when YOU heard the good news? How does it feel to know that YOU are a person of consequence? Have you been sharing your good news? Where, will you share your story next?
