How’s the work ethic? Not only at our paid job, but also for the routine almost negligible ones? Our work ethic matters to God. That’s what we glean in today’s Holy Nougat™
So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless. 1 Corinthians 15:58
Nothing.
Especially when we can’t seem to redeem it. But then, it is Chris who redeems, not us. So our responsibility is to ensure we make the most of every situation, for we never know what else lies in God’s agenda.
What that leaves us with is that very challenging responsibility of working ENTHUSIASTICALLY for the Lord.
I’m certain we each have to drum up the enthusiasm at times. If need be, let’s call on each other. That’s our other substantive role. And who knows, maybe that unimportant task may be that which can help another in their challenging moment.
May God continue to guide us as we work to God’s glory.
