Not to sound fake or super spiritual; but do we discuss the Word with others outside of worship spaces? And, if yes, when, what and how? Is it with members of the same worshipping community, or a different group? How frequently do you meet? What is the goal and how did you get connected? Any recommendations on how to get started, dos and don’ts, ways to build synergy and enhance spiritual growth?
I recall being invited to one such meeting and reluctantly agreeing; to save face. That lasted for about two meetings. Thereafter, I was clearing space in my life for the respite and encouragement it provided. Now I actually pray that I find one wherever I am stationed.
Today’s Holy Nougat invites us to think about the value of small groups or prayer partners for our mutual growth.
