Hello
For the next few weeks, the nougats might be slightly off schedule. Please bear with me.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
Jesus said, “I have been very eager to eat this Passover meal with you before my suffering begins. Luke 22:15 NLT
There’s an old saying, “feast today and famine tomorrow” which normally relates to eating or seasons of plenty and lack. Yet Jesus introduced an interesting variation.
He opted for quality time with his inner circle prior to a season of anguish. So when we KNOW we’re about to face the worst … We make the time with our loved ones count. And since time remains God’s purview and not ours, perhaps we should take advantage of the time we have with others around us and make them count.
Sickness, change of fortune, death, betrayal, hurts, imprisonment, loneliness, fears … they all May sneak upon us with no warning. So we celebrate our loved ones, reminding them of their worth to us. And who knows, we just might impress them with God’s love in the process.
Thanks for sharing this time with me. May God’s grace enfold you as you feast on God’s word
In Christ
