Hi
How are you? Doing well and in great spiritual health I pray.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:2 NKJV
Are you familiar with the phrase ‘heavenly bound but up to no earthly good’? Unfortunately, sometimes in our quest to find access to the heavenly realms, we lose sight of what and who really matter.
Before placing it in our context, I urge us to remember the parable of the Good Samaritan. Those who were heavenly bound missed the opportunity to minister to their own. The outcast did not. Perhaps he had nothing to lose.
What about you and I? Is there any spiritual hard line which we have forged in the sand? Perhaps to the detriment of being available on earth?
More importantly, when were we left for dead and had no idea that the outcast attended to our need? Did that shift our outlook on the outcast?
Could our spiritual lens require a little focusing?
Thanks for allowing the Lord in your day
In Christ
