Top of the week to ya saints!
As a child, did you ever opt to ignore your parents, only to find later that you missed a treat. That used to be so not nice. I believe that we sometimes miss out on blessings, because we choose to deliberately disobey or ignore God. Let’s let that simmer for a while…
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
On the first day of each week, you should each put aside a portion of the money you have earned. Don’t wait until I get there and then try to collect it all at once. 1 Corinthians 16:2 NLT
We give (not throw) our tithes to God, in obedience to God. Not as performance appraisal of the minister or congregation. And, based upon other promises, we know that there are benefits.
So whether it’s the first or seventh day, let us worship God by giving generously.
Hurry hurry! Don’t be slow!
