Recently, a colleague posted a prayer for persons who have considered or attempted suicide, a dat after one of my children was brave enough to post about surviving their attempt, concluding with a plea for others to choose life. It confirmed that which has been on my mind. Even Christians suffer from a sense of hopelessness. And some persons yield to the thought that removal of self would solve the issue. A few weeks ago, I invited us to consider what would place Judas over the edge… Today however, I wish to remind us of who we are in Christ Jesus.
