Have you managed to connect with our risen Christ as yet? These times do invite the urgent response to his friend request.

Here’s today’s nougat

… and for fear of him the watchers did quake, and became as dead men. Matthew 28:4

Talk about being slain in the Spirit! The fear-induced fainting of the guards makes a lot of sense. But it probably did not score any positive points with the Roman or Jewish leadership of the day.

Have you ever wondered what they reported to their families upon arriving home? Or did you stop to think about the response of the family?

“You did WHAT? You saw the dead man rise up? Yeah riiiiight. (No wonder they banished us!)”
