Sometimes, in order for us to receive our breakthrough, we MUST register our circumstances for what it is. Dead.
For in the moment of recognizing that the situ-comstance is no longer within our own human fix-a-bility, we become open to the magnificent power of God.
The disciples were aware of who Jesus was, but when he suggested Lazarus was asleep (v12); they misunderstood the gravity of Lazarus’ circumstances, he was many days dead, beyond HUMAN resuscitation.
You see, sometimes we get caught up in our illegal unwarranted position of advisor to angels and to God Almighty’, that we fail to recognize that God is God without our help …
So how about we turn in our CEO pin, step down from our lofty FIX-IT role and let God be God?
Could it be that part of the delay is God’s opting to wait on us to trust without caveat? Are we ready to believe even after rigormortis has impacted our situation?
Maybe, maybe not.
Whatever the case, key us opt to trust God’s timing and state the facts as they are.
