Hello all
Sometimes we need to vent. If today is the day, great. Allow today’s Holy Nougat to help
“I will say to God my Rock: “Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go about mourning, under the oppression of the enemy?”” Psalms 42:10 TLV
Cry out to God, remember that God would rather hear from us, than be faced with the pretense. And God is not afraid of our hearts’ cry. Cry remembering that sometimes the enemy is within.
Cries for help, healing and hope. A plea for this plague to be done and people return to worshiping in Spirit and in Truth. A pouring out of our heart, placing burning issues and seeking God’s way forward. A cry to let go of old and new hurts, that births a new day within. To forgive enemies and friends, to be forgiven, to release grudges, to right a wrong. A cry to bury the hatchet, even when we know we’re right; a cry to help us overcome when inside we don’t really want to let go.
We cry out in recognition that Christ is crucified anew with some of our actions, and not just those of the world. A cry of repentance, as we turn away from whichever other things (gods) that have taken priority in our lives. A cry to release the enemy off our backs as we are restored to Christ.
And as we cry out (if we do), may we feel the arms of God enfold us and the voice of God assure us that all is not lost, for it is well. With our God in charge of the details, it already is well.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
